Referent Hans-Joachim Krieger

1980 besuchte Hans-Joachim Krieger seine erste Whiskydestillerie Old-Bushmills in Irland. Seit 1996 reiste er 15 mal nach Schottland und verfolgte seinen Traum von allen Destillen (aktive, stillgelegte, Reste) Fotos zu machen. Bis heute hat er über 120 Standorte fotografiert. Aber auch sehr viele Führungen und Tastings hat er auf diesen Rundreisen erleben dürfen. Im privatem Kreis führt er schon seit Jahren Tastings durch.

Tastings & Seminare

The tastings will be held in german language but we will translate especially the tasting notes in english language during the tasting periods.

Here you can buy tickets for the tastings and seminars. The payment options are MasterCard, Visa and PayPal. A payment with a voucher is only possible on site in Holzbunge. The tickets will be made available to you directly after purchase as a PDF document. In addition, you can also buy the tickets in our shop in Holzbunge. The seminars are held by the speaker Jens Fischer and last about 2.5 hours. During this time, you will learn everything you want to know about the respective topic and much more. In addition you get a summary of the lecture to take away. During the seminar, the speaker will seek the expert discussion with you and you will learn a lot about the production, history and taste background. The Tasting begins at 5 pm and will end at aprox. 7pm!

In case of a no-show on your part, we will provide the tasted whiskies, bottled in miniature bottles with all information. There will be no refund or rescheduling! If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to give your tickets to friends or acquaintances. Participants who wish to take part in a guided tour of the Whisky Museum must be there by 4pm at the latest. Empty Miniaturbottles are available for 1,00€.

Thomas Krüger was born in Rendsburg in 1961, what has also proved to be a very good vintage for Bordeaux wine. He already started collecting whisky miniatures in 1974. Since then his collection has grown a lot and been extended with big bottles and whiskysoires. His passion is Scotch whisky and his aim is the production of quality Scotch whiskies he can offer in his tastings for you to savour. In 1997 Thomas started his internet auction “WhiskyAuction.Com”, which is now established worldwide as one of the biggest and longest running online whisky auctions. Taking over the family shop in Rendsburg in 2006, he discovered the delight the harmonious interplay of high-quality pralines & whisky can bring. And you will be able to experience these enjoyable flavours in his tastings.
